Obsah předmětu
<LI> 1. Socialization, factors influencing successful socialization (internal - disposition, external - environment, upbringing). Enculturation, acculturation. <LI> 2. Social pathology - definition of the term. Norm and order in society, normality. Socio-pathological phenomena and social control. The institute of social control and its function in society. Anomie as a risk for society. <LI> 3. Social deviation and conformity. Definition, degrees of deviation. Theory of social deviations, etiology of deviant behavior. Historical approaches to deviation, cultural relativism. Definition of the concept of risky behavior, behavioral disorder, pathological addiction as forms of deviant behavior. <LI> 4. Prevention. Definition, terminology, degrees of prevention and its system in Czech society. <LI> 5. Primary prevention. Principles of primary prevention. Creation of a preventive-educational strategy of a school - minimum preventive program, school educational program. School prevention methodology and its functions. <LI> 6. Professional intervention (secondary, tertiary prevention). System of professional assistance and professional facilities (state, non-profit sector). Professional support at school - educational counselor, school counseling center (school psychologist, school special educator, school social educator, etc.). <LI> 7. Educator and his/her competences in the field of social pathologies and prevention of risky behavior. <LI> 8. Institute of alternative family care, forms of non-institutional alternative family care. Institutional and protective education. System of institutional education, placement of children and adolescents in institutional education. Role of diagnostic institute and other preventive-educational facilities. Reeducation, resocialization. <LI> 9. Education for a healthy lifestyle, prosocial education and personal and social development as non-specific primary prevention. <LI> 10. Methods of prevention of risky behavior. Creation and implementation of primary prevention programs.

Výstupy z učení
The course deals with theoretical and practical issues of social pathology and is intended to develop the necessary competencies of a (future) educator in relation to risky forms of behavior, their diagnosis, solution and, above all, prevention from the point of view of planning and implementing preventive programs.
At the end of the course students should be able to: <LI> understand the importance of prevention for the development and protection of society and its members, <LI> characterize the basic approaches, forms and conditions for the implementation of prevention, <LI> describe methods of primary prevention implemented in the education sector, <LI> characterize basic areas of primary prevention in education, <LI> define the basic concepts of prevention and specifically primary prevention implemented in the education sector; <LI> characterize the types and process of creation of primary prevention programs, <LI> describe the possibilities of evaluating primary prevention programs and how to evaluate their effectiveness, <LI> to know the possibilities of counseling in secondary prevention and to orientate in the system of facilities for preventive educational care, institutional and protective education, <LI> to design and methodically prepare a program of primary prevention of selected forms of risky behavior.

Prerequisites for completing the course: <LI> A. SEMESTER WORK Primary prevention project of a specific risky form of behavior for use in pedagogical practice focused on the target group of children or adolescents (topics: addictions; delinquency and crime, aggression and bullying, truancy, xenophobia and racism, extreme risky sports, negative effects of sects, sexual risky behavior, eating disorders, etc.). The work will include: a/ theoretical definition of the phenomenon, the state of the problem being solved (current knowledge about the problem, research), the topicality of the problem, proper citation and referencing of the professional sources used; b/ the project itself, stating the project's intention (justification, initial state of the problem being solved) and expected learning outcomes, as well as the target group, implementation environment, interested parties, implementation process, material requirements, time schedule, outputs, etc. The emphasis will be placed on the pedagogical processing of the project's implementation; a calculation of financial costs is not required (but is possible). Scope of the semester work: min. 4 pages (PC, line spacing 1, font size max. 12 Arial or Times New Roman). The work must contain correct citations and references in the text to the professional literature used and a list of used literature at the end (according to the citation standard). PRESENTATION AND DEFENCE OF THE PROJECT IN A SEMINAR The student will prepare a presentation from the completed project with basic information about the project, which he will present in a seminar and try to defend his intention. He will receive feedback from his classmates and the teacher on possible fine-tuning of the project concept. <LI> C. ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN TEACHING The student actively participates in classes, joins in discussions. 1 unexcused absence is tolerated.
