Course content
<LI> Definition of leisure, functions of leisure. <LI> Factors influencing the way leisure time is spent. <LI> Specifics of children and youth leisure. <LI> Natural social environments and children and youth leisure. <LI> Relationship between education and leisure time, education outside of school. <LI> Leisure pedagogy as a pedagogical discipline. <LI> Goals and specifics of educational activities in leisure. <LI> Rest, recreation and hobby activities. <LI> Institutional environment of leisure education.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: <LI> define the basic concepts of leisure pedagogy, <LI> specify the principles and functions of leisure, <LI> explain the axiological dimension of leisure pedagogy and its relevance to quality of life, <LI> specify the factors that influence the way leisure is experienced, <LI> analyse current issues related to leisure for children and youth, <LI> explain the influence of the environment on children and youth's leisure, <LI> explain the relationship between education and leisure and clarify the aims and specificities of educational activities in leisure, <LI> to characterise the mission and activities of school leisure education establishments and associations for children and youth, <LI> describe and explain the position and role of the social pedagogue in the school.
