Course content
|
<LI> 1. The phenomenon of leisure in the context of contemporary pedagogy and psychology, its role in the socialization of the individual. <LI> 2. Philosophical and historical foundations of educational impact on individuals in their leisure. <LI> 3. Leisure pedagogy as a pedagogical discipline, its definition, subject and basic terminology. <LI> 4. Methodology of leisure pedagogy, research activities in the field of leisure education. <LI> 5. Goals and specifics of educational impact in the leisure of various target groups and in relation to different environments and different levels of prevention. <LI> 6. Leisure educator, his definition and competences. <LI> 7. Leisure education from the point of view of valid legislation, application of basic didactic categories in leisure education. <LI> 8. Guided play and its application in achieving educational goals - features, classification and methodology of game management. <LI> 9. Learning through experience in the context of leisure pedagogy, terminology and laws of experiential pedagogy. <LI> 10. Designing in leisure education - key principles and guidelines for preparing, implementing and evaluating leisure activities of diverse content and scope, dramaturgy.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject sheds light on leisure time as a space for the personal development of an individual and their successful socialization and defines leisure pedagogy as a scientific field dealing with theoretical and methodological aspects of education outside of school.
After completing the course, students should be able to: <LI> define the concept of leisure and explain its functions in human life with an emphasis on the socialization of the individual, <LI> characterize leisure pedagogy as an applied pedagogical discipline, define the basic concepts of leisure pedagogy and explain the principles and methods of research work in the field of leisure time, <LI> describe and analyze the goals and specifics of educational impact on various target groups in leisure, <LI> define and characterize organizations and facilities for leisure education and their synergy with natural environments, <LI> clarify the legislative anchoring of the profession of a leisure educator and his expected professional and personal competencies, <LI> apply basic didactic categories in the field of hobby education and design the activities of hobby units, <LI> explain the concept of game, clarify the importance of game in the educational process and describe the basic practical aspects of introducing games, <LI> explain the principles of experiential pedagogy and based on them design one's own experiential activities focused on various educational goals, <LI> plan, implement and evaluate their own leisure activities of diverse content and scope using the rules of dramaturgy.

Prerequisites
|
The course is intended for students of the subsequent master's degree in Social Pedagogy.

Oral exam, Seminar Work
<LI> A) Semester work - ACCORDING TO THE CHOICE BELOW a) Preparation of an analysis of the offer of leisure activities and a proposal for a concept for supplementing this offer. b) Preparation of a leisure stay project for a specific social group (in the context of social pedagogy - children with social disadvantages, from excluded localities, from institutional care, etc.). <LI> B) Attendance. 1 absence is tolerated. <LI> C) Exam in the form of a colloquium. Final oral exam.
