Course content
Pedagogy as a science. Historical development of pedagogical thinking around the world and in the Czech lands. Pedagogical heritage of J. A. Komenský. Education as a subject of pedagogy, goals, contents, principles, elements of education, methods and forms of education. Education institutions, family, school, leisure-time activities. Personality of a teacher, pedagogical communication. Children?s rights, CAN syndrome, social pathologies. Alternative schooling systems. Foundations of research in pedagogy.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic)
Learning outcomes
The human element in education. The historical development of education as a pedagogical science. The foundations and stages of the educational process. Education and educating as a process of pedagogical interaction. Basic didactic categories. Alternative education systems. A school's environment. The system of school administration.
After graduating disciplines, students should be able to use the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills from pedagogy in their profession.

Written exam

The execution of a written examination prescribed pedagogy topics.
