Pupil with mother tongue other than Czech, bilingualism, types of bilingualism, educating pupils with a different mother tongue in Czech Republic and abroad.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is: defining the terms: a pupil with a mother tongue other than Czech, bilingualism and other terms, to know the role of bilingualism in a life of a person, to apply this knowledge by educating pupils with other mother tongue - legislative norms, teoretical approaches, practical experiences.
The student knows the terms "pupil with a different mother tongue", "bilingualism", "bilateral semilingualism". They know the types of bilingualism, understand their significance for everyday life of the speaker. They know legislative norms, understand binding documents. They diagnose individual needs of the pupils with a different mother tongue in the education, apply this knowledge in preparation for the teaching and for the realisation of the lesson. Evaluate achieved results. Students create a stimulating environment and strives for a positive climate in the classroom.

The prerequisite is completion of the course Didactics.
