Course content
|
Management and its role in working with a client, the specifics of managing people in a social organization. Forming organizational units in connection with availability of social services. Motivation for working in a social establishment. The criteria for decision-making in the social sphere. Monitoring and evaluation of the quality of working with clients in state and non-state social establishments.

Learning outcomes
|
Basics of general management theory and their application in social work.
Students mamagementu control each function and are able to apply them to the social sector, the non-profit organizations , state and local governments.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of social policy, social work and psychology of personality.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Elaborating an essay on the topic of centralization and decentralization of management. Analysis of specifics in social work management, while using Venn diagram method. Checking and evaluation of individual work will be performed prior to taking an exam.
