Course content
|
Personality of a primary and secondary school pupil, demography, psychological and pedagogical characteristics of a lower secondary school pupil, talented pupil, slow pupil, and a pupil, requiring special care, pupil of a different ethnic origin, external and internal differentiation at primary school, social and psychological aspects of education, pathological phenomena in education.

Learning outcomes
|
Pupils of lower and upper secondary schools and their problems. Psychological characteristics of a lower secondary school pupil, gifted pupil, slow pupil and pupil in need of special care. Inner and outer differenciation at lower secondary school, social and psychological aspects of education, pathological phenomena in education.
The course builds on educational Propaedeutics. After its completion, the student will be able to understand the problems of education of secondary school pupil, student socialization, leisure and socio-pedagogical problems of the pupil.

Prerequisites

Basic skills for university study in the field of helping professions. Interest in the field, a willingness to work independently and in a team.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic Test
Student masters curriculum of the field/support Pupil of a Lower Secondary School 1, fulfils correspondence tasks, passes a knowledge test.
