Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - evaluate errors as part of our world and as a positive and significant part of the learning process; - accept the teacher as a constantly developing, and therefore also an error-making person; - realize and describe the difference between the cognitive and affective + behavioral components of the value of errors; - explain the principle of learning from errors; - describe the relationship of errors to human motivation and to a person's self-esteem; - give examples of the functions that errors fulfill in the learning process; - characterize the conditions facilitating learning from errors; - apply general principles facilitating learning from errors to practical school situations; - share with colleagues the specifics of working with errors within their studied subject and discuss them; - suggest opportunities for the development of student self-assessment and self-directed learning.
