Course content
1. Social science leisure activities in the context of leisure pedagogy For each of the following areas, emphasis will be placed on the definition of teaching and educational objectives, material didactic resources and teaching methods 2. The study of history as a leisure activity. Organisation of history clubs focusing on regional, thematic or national history. 3. Philosophical, argumentative and discussion activities of interest. Selection of topics, adaptation to the age groups of children and didactic problems in the formulation of philosophical topics. 4. Interest units focused on the study of religion or on the spirituality of a particular religious current. Differences between religious studies, theology and religious practice. Animation of children's groups. Activities of interest, children's and youth communities organised within specific churches. 5. Political science and politics as an leisure or interest activity. Organisation of interest groups promoting political engagement. Working with political ideology in education. Issues of manipulation, misinformation and sophisms in the training of interest formations. Working with political parties and movements. 6. Activities focusing on literature and reading clubs. Cooperation with libraries. 7. Social activities, helping specific social groups through volunteer work in leisure time (vulnerable children, seniors, socially excluded), social activities or volunteering in social services. 8. Activities focused on self-knowledge, self-development, lifestyle and psychology. 9. Activities focused on media, media literacy and critical reflection on media content. 10. Activities of a cultural and folklore nature.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: 1. explain the concept of interest and hobby 2. explain the importance of social science interest activities in education, 3. characterize the different types of social science interest activities, 4. create an annual plan for the activities of the interest group, 5. plan, implement and evaluate a meeting of an interest group of any focus, 6. develop the structure of an interest group meeting in the form of a written preparation.

Prerequisites
Knowledge of basic approaches and theories of leisure. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations and practical principles of leisure pedagogy. Basic knowledge of social pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Final project

1. Search and analysis of interest groups focused on the selected social area. 2. Developing a methodological plan for an interest group focused on a selected social or humanities area. 3. Defending the plans in points 1 and 2 in a group presentation.
