Course content

Topics: Social issues in selected countries (poverty, unemployment, discrimination, racism, HIV, religious violence, migration, addictive behavior, etc.) Researches of social problems, overview of adequate professional resources. The approach of the given companies to solve the selected problem. Comparison with the situation in advanced Europe (Czech Republic). Quantitative, qualitative research in the social sciences.

Prerequisites
|
The contact instruction is focused on the key issues of discipline and the learners' navigation to self-reflection. The theoretical pendent of the curriculum is acquired by the students through self-study and processing of given partial tasks, exercises and problem questions.

Final exam in the form of a colloquium. Presentation of the knowledge about the selected problem, comparison with the situation in our conditions.
