Course content

The course presents an overview of the socially pathological phenomena and possibilities of their prevention.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
|
Physical, psychic, mental, social or moral threats to children, adults and senior citizens. Drug abuse, alcoholism, smoking, aggression, bullying, vandalism, CAN syndrome, truancy, prostitution, pornography, gambling and other social pathologies. Education towards healthy lifestyle, towards positive social behaviour and personality development. Diagnostics and methods of preventing social pathologies in children and youth.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of social pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Didactic Test
75% attendance of lectures, active participation in seminars ? evaluation of student?s activity is a part of final evaluation.
