Course content
|
Definition of financial education and financial literacy. Strategic and legislative documents and their importance in building a system of financial education at primary and secondary schools, the reasons for the necessity of teaching in schools, standards of financial literacy, home economics (personal budget, household budget, personal assets and liabilities, assets and liabilities). Price (pricing practices in the marketing concept, the concept of costs, different prices of the same goods). Money, paying (the nature and functions of money, cash and cashless payment). Financial market (setting interest rates, calculating interest, bank charges). Financial products (bank deposits, building savings, pension, life insurance, installment sales, loans, leasing, hire purchase). Financial Planning (hedge risks, consumer rights, complaint procedures, information sources).

Learning outcomes

- explain the importance, necessity and timeliness of teaching financial literacy and financial education, - Apply the issue of financial literacy in their practice, - Learn the rules of budgeting household / personal budget - Understand the offer of financial products and the financial market - Compile a personal financial plan.
Graduates will be able to teach the topics of financial literacy in schools.
