Course content
|
Definition of social counselling in individual areas of public life. Theory of counselling from the perspective of personality. A counselling interview. Methods of counselling process. Critical and risk client.

Types and forms of counselling. Stages of work with a client, specific approaches to specific client groups, legal aspects of social couselling.

Student performance
Following completion of the course, students should be able to describe and explain the types, rules and strategies for counselling as part of the social work, apply rules and procedures of dealing with a client in a problematic situation, apply the rules for handling crisis situations.
