Course content
|
Students will be introduced to specialised terminology, the system of social care in our country, in accordance with the Act no. 108/2006 of the Coll., forms of care for families, medically disadvantaged children, the system of social and legal protection of children.

Learning outcomes
|
Subject gives information about problems of social care, its evolution in our country and abroad, its system of organization and management in The Czech Republic (state, regions, municipalities - their competences). It is also directed to social care in families and children, or families with health disadvantaged children, their integration. It holds forth on forms of substitute family care and care for children in the frame of social-law protection.
The student is able to understand the basic concepts of social care, control and management system for the organization of social care in the Czech Republic , as well as care for the family and children.

Student performance
Elaborating a group seminar thesis together with a presentation and an essay on a given topic.
