Course content
|
Social care for persons with drug addictions, penitentiary and post-penitentiary care, respite care, hospice care. Services in accordance with the Act no. 108/2006 of the Coll. on social services, as amended by subsequent legal regulations.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject is a follow up to Introduction to Studies about Social Problems, Social Politics 1 and 2, Sociological Thinking, General Sociology and Social Care 1. It gives information about the problems of social care for drug addicted people, for people endangered by social exclusion and for health disadvantaged people. It focuses on continual care, probation and mediation services and on the role of personal assistance.
The student is able to understand the basic concepts of social care, control and management system for the organization of social care in the Czech Republic , as well as care for the family and children.
