The course is designed as theoretical. It builds on the knowledge gained in anatomy. The aim of the study is to obtain basic theoretical knowledge in the field of dermatology dealing with the skin and its derivatives (hair, nails, sweat glands, etc.) and skin diseases.

The course is conceived as a theoretical - practical unit focused on the skin specifics as a separate organ and on pathological clinical conditions and diseases that disrupt the integrity of the skin and affect the health and quality of life. It also introduces students to STD diseases. After completing the course, the student will have basic information from the field of dermatovenerology, which will be able to use in his everyday physiotherapeutic practice.
