The age of internet (20th and 21st century) 7. Introduction to Databases in DH 8. Data bases - their models, typologies 9. History of Knowledge Organization Systems (KOS) 10. Data bases organization, KOS and and meeting users' needs 11. Data security and legal issues of data in Humanities 12. Semantic technologies and Linked Data in Digital Humanities

Learning outcomes
This course aims to introduce students to key topics related to databases and the history of knowledge organization systems in the context of digital humanities. Students will gain theoretical knowledge about data structures, the applications of databases in humanities research, and the evolution of information organization tools.
