The course introduces methods of document production based on linguistic analysis. The qualitative properties of the text that can be used to classify a document into a certain category are presented.The students use quantitative methods of text processing that they have learned in other courses in the field (quantitative linguistics, algorithmic language processing).The aim of the course is to guide the student through several tasks in digital content harvesting in the form of case studies in order to master this way of approaching the analysis of linguistic data (the initial knowledge the student has acquired in previous linguistic and methodological courses).
