Course content
Mathematical foundations of quantitative linguistics. Special focus: Hřebíček's hypothesis of fractal structure of language. Construction of terminological apparatus - various types of fractals and referential spaces. Analysis of texts of B. Mandelbrot, L. Hřebíček, R. Köhler.

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the mathematical foundations of quantitative linguistics.
