Course content
Film didactic - work with film in education. The most important German films in 20. century in overview (1945-1990) film in divided country. Major German feature films reflecting selected facts of the country: eg Heimat: Filmreihe Heimat (Reg.E. Reiz, 1984), Heidi (Reg. A. Gsponer, 2011), Grün ist die Heide, 1951. Topic Gegenwärtige Geschichte: Der Himmel über Berlin (Reg. W. Wender, 1987), Good Bye, Lenin! (Reg. W. Becker, 2003), Die Welle (Reg. D. Gansel, 2008). Topic: Nationale Identität, Migration, Immigration (Almanya, Willkommen in Deutschland, Reg. Y. Samdereli, 2011) The most important German documentary films

At the end of the course students should be able to: - analyze the message of engaged and critical films, - take note of the means of film language, - write a review of the film, -appoint important representatives of German cinematography, - methodically elaborate film material suitable for teaching at primary and secondary schools
