Course content
The current state of foreign language teaching in Czech education. Foreign language teacher and his/her role according to the professional standard of a teacher. Hospitalization activities in foreign language classes. Foreign language teacher and stress. Problem areas in the context of inclusive education. Teaching foreign language to pupils with special educational needs and related problems. The role of the foreign language teacher as a creator and implementer of educational goals.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - articulate the current state and current changes in education with regard to foreign language teaching - formulate problem areas in relation to inclusive education - characterise the role of the foreign language teacher as a creator and implementer of educational goals - discuss and take a position on the identified problem areas in German language teaching - formulate current problems of the teaching profession - compare selected problems of language teaching in the Czech Republic and abroad

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Active participation in seminars. Presentation of a selected topic developed by the student on the basis of a continuous teaching practice at one of the primary schools in the Czech Republic. The topics will be distributed in the first seminar. STUDENTS WITH ISP: 20% of the attendance obligation. Completion of assignments as for students without ISP + their presentation in the seminar.
