Course content

Simple interpretation consecutive. Work of memory. Work with phraseology. Working with "semantic dominants" (names, numbers, etc.). Work with realia. Interpreting in the form of role dialogues in the following situations: A German pupil at a school. Our city. Selected city of German speaking countries. In restaurant. In theater. At the doctor. In the shop. When exploring the city. At the University.

At the end of the course students should be able to: - master two-way communication on topics: in school, restaurant, city, doctor, shop etc. and be able to consecutively translate simple dialogues to above mentioned topics in Czech-German relations - to acquire techniques to remember important information in the sentence (names, numbers, etc.) in the mother language and the foreign language - orientate in the problems of monuments, especially the monuments of the region assertively manage typical situations such as in a restaurant and hotel and manage potential conflicts.
