Course content
The topics of the so-called Fehlerlinguistik (error linguistics) are covered: - classification of errors - 'interlanguage' - transfer - interference in pronunciation, grammar and lexicology - interlingual and intralingual interference (faux amis, paronymy, divergence) - most common errors in the German-Czech interference

Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: define the concept of interference and interference errors, classify and analyze errors, define the terms Interimsprache (interlanguage) and Transfer, explain the main differences between interlingual and intralingual interference, describe interference errors in vocabulary, errors, describe error therapy, analyze error prevention, master practical examples of lexical interference.
