Course content

Topics: Basic principles of educational and training work of language school. The school as a part of the community, region. Legislative circumstances of the work of schools in the field of education. Teacher's job description.

Learning outcomes
|
After completing the course, students should be able to: list the basic principles of educational work in the context of a language school/agency, explain how a particular language school is integrated into the current social context, the community/region and the international Czech-German context, use current legislation to document the relevant legislative circumstances of the work of schools in the field of German language teaching, and, based on practical experience, comprehensively describe the work of a teacher of their choice.
The student is to apply the acquired knowledge of methodology and didactics of foreign language in practice, create your own portfolio.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of previous theoretical training.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
Completion of a prescribed number of listening sessions and outputs at a language school or language agency. Completion of all specific tasks, analysis of the teaching process. Submission of a portfolio containing lesson preparations and pre-determined assignments.
