Course content
Terminology of literary criticism, analysing shorter literary texts. Students are encouraged in reading German literature regularly.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Explaining of particular literary forms and genres of the written and spoken culture. Teaching lessons are supported by the training textbook.
mastering the reading of the selected text, formal and content analysis
Prerequisites
knowledge of basic literary forms and genres at the level of the secondary school curriculum

Student performance

80% participation in classes, paper/presentation from the reading list, written test-exam on the theory of literature
