Course content
This course focuses on overall revision of grammar covered in all previous semesters. The semester and the whole studies are finished by a summarizing combined examination based on the knowledge of specialized as well as general language covered in the syllabus of all semesters. The studies are finished by a combined examination. The written part comprises of a test in general German on the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The oral part of the examination contains a critical analysis of a specialized text and a following discourse.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 2 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 8 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 35 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 35 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The language course is aimed at developing, improving and practicing skills in speaking, writing, listening and reading. There is a special emphasis on specialist vocabulary introduction (EAP) and its further practice.
By the end of the course, the student will have achieved level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference and the German Language Portfolio.
Prerequisites
Active knowledge of the German language.

Mark, Oral exam, Written exam

80% active attendance in seminars and graduation of the test.
