Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: - define the basic terms of German syntax - to explain the basic rules of syntax - characterize sentence members -names and characterize different types of main and subordinate clauses- assess the accuracy of statements in terms of word order -analyze sentences according to syntactic criteria basic principles of creating single and multiple negations - assess the correctness of sentences in terms of punctuation -use learned rules in practical exercises and in common communication
