Course content

What is literature for children and youth, the creation of literature for children and young people in the German language area; realistic literature; adventure literature, literature about animals, girls' literature, historical works, detective and crime stories, fiction, sci-fi, poetry, professional literature.

Learning outcomes
|
An overview of the history of German-written literature for children and young readers. Various genres. Using literary text when teaching German.
The student is able, on the basis of acquired knowledge to actively communicate, discuss and argue the thematic seminar circuits defined

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of the German language and the ability to analyze and interpret literary text.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)
Reading and interpreting each field of literature for children and youth (see course contents) at least one work. Knowing a brief overview of the various areas of literature for children and youth.
