Course content
Major concepts from the didactics and methodologies of foreign language. Basic methods in teaching a foreign language suitable for preschool children. Developing language skills with an emphasis on speech skills. Songs in the German language. Game activities focused on vocabulary. Working with pictures. A methodology for teaching the German language to preschool children called Hans Hase, developed by the Goethe Institute.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - to define and clarify basic terminology from the field of didactics and the methodology of teaching a foreign language, - to clarify the specifics of teaching a foreign language for children of pre-school age - to master basic methods of teaching a foreign language suitable for children of pre-school age - to characterise and develop language skills (mainly speech) in children of pre-school age - to be able to didactically process simple foreign language songs for the initial teaching of a foreign language, to use in the language.
The student has an overview of the basic didactic principles and is able to apply them to NJ teaching for the pupils of the IP.
