Course content |
Curriculum documents and school regulations. Language course participants as part of a collective group. Group/class climate, language school climate. Situations arising in the classroom and their solution. The teaching profession as a helping profession. Specific requirements of teaching German in the context of a language school. Senior citizens and foreign language teaching.

After completing the course, students should be able to: describe the form of regulations, the activity and behaviour of language course participants, the composition of groups of a particular language school with regard to the situation in the context of adult education, present their opinion on the climate of a particular school, formulate conclusions in which they compare their idea of the profession of a language school teacher with the reality of daily school practice and the experiences and opinions of teachers, present their opinion on the appropriateness of the use of different methods by the teacher in dealing with situations arising in the teaching of German.

Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
The student creates his/her own portfolio during the internship. Its content consists of assignments and assessments as outlined in the Practice Manual and in the context of the course objectives. The student also completes individual outcomes in relation to the course Diversity in School Concept and Management. |
