An overview of the most influential Austrian literary authors and their works. Students' active participation in discussions is expected. Topics include post-war literature and language crisis.

Prerequisites
The identification of particular creative periods with the consideration of historical, political and cultural developmental trends, and literary work as their reflection. The mutual influence of Czech and Austrian culture within their historically conditioned coexistence. The hermeneutic method of the interpretation of a literary work includes also methodic instructions.
