Course content
Definition of technical terminology. Didactic game in foreign language teaching. Organizational aspects of games in teaching. The role of games in the development of learners' language competences. The role of the teacher during the game. Games for vocabulary development. Games for practicing sentence structure and language structure. Games for practicing spelling. Games to develop descriptive skills. Games to maintain concentration and rhythm. Games to stimulate discussion. Language games using media. Preparation of own teaching materials.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - explain the concepts of didactic play, language play and list specific examples, - explain the rationale of language games for teaching, - use professional didactic terminology, - specify the contribution of didactic games to the development of cognitive and thinking operations, - explain the organisational prerequisites for the implementation of games

Seminar activity. Completion of the assigned tasks according to the instructions in the MOODLE system. Creation and presentation of the assigned activity in the seminar. STUDENTS WITH ISP: For students with ISP, 30% participation in class is sufficient. The special task (completion of the extra activity) will be specified in more detail in the MOODLE system.
