Course content
Methods of foreign language teaching. Organizational forms. Language resources. Vocabulary and working with it. Grammar and its mediation. Pronunciation training. The graphic system of the language. Language skills. Reading comprehension. Listening comprehension. Speaking. Written expression.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - acquire the terminology of the field, - understand the historical development of foreign language teaching, - understand the nature of language skills, - name the different types of language exercises, - distinguish between inductive and deductive processes of grammar conveyance, - develop language skills with the help of supplementary didactic materials, - become aware of the categories of vocabulary.

Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

Participation in tutorials, performance of partial tasks, presentation of partial work before colleagues in the seminar, self-study - preparation for credit.
