Course content
|
This course focuses on overall revision of grammar covered in all previous semesters. The semester and the whole studies are finished by a summarizing combined examination based on the knowledge of specialized as well as general language covered in the syllabus of all semesters. The written part comprises of a test in general German on the B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The oral part of the examination contains a critical analysis of a specialized text and a following discourse.

Learning outcomes
|
The language course is aimed at developing, improving and practicing skills in speaking, writing, listening and reading. There is a special emphasis on specialist vocabulary introduction (EAP) and its further practice.
By the end of the course, the student will have achieved level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference and the German Language Portfolio.

80% active attendance in seminars, graduation of the test and the exam.
