Course content
|
Individual work on a chosen topic. The frequency of tutorials depends on the agreed schedule (should be minimally once a month). At the end of this period the student presents the thesis in the final draft which allows for preliminary evaluation of its content and format.

Learning outcomes
|
Regular weekly consultations of a student or a group of specialized students with the tutor or superviser on the diploma thesis/theses.
The student is aware of the basic principles of structuring text, is familiar with the methods, is aware of the investigative process, such as the verification of sources, the citation ethics ad. Student is able to choose adequate methodological applications, evaluates the sources (or is able to categorize and critically evaluate their relevance), is able to structure of the complex professional output.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Dialog, Seminar Work
Student elaborates the chapters/parts of the thesis in a quality demanded in the area of musicology and follows the time schedule given by the tutor/superviser. In order to receive credit, the student must submit a completed bachelor's thesis (minimum 72,000 characters) that has been written in accordance with consultations with the thesis supervisor.
