Course content |
Working on an individual research, critical or popularizing output, which takes on a form of an academic paper, a popular essay or an extensive critique (a set of critiques) published in a book, an anthology, a journal, within an exhibition, i.a. Students can individually consult the nature and the academic level of the text/output with a chosen instructor in his/her office hours. Students can also build their work on an already devised paper from another course. The published text cannot match with the Seminar Thesis 1.

Learning outcomes |
To support and activate an individual research, critical or popularizing activities with the output being an academic paper, a popular essay or an extensive critique (a set of critiques) published in a book, an anthology, a journal, within an exhibition, i.a.
Devising a publication output intended for the academic public develops students ability to formulate a technical problem, interpret and critically evaluate information gained from the literature or the original sources and cultivates his/her ability of expressing oneself on an academic level. |

Assessment methods and criteria |
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic
The submission of an individual study in the range of 5-10 pages published in an academic journal or within other publishing platform (e.g. exhibition). When granting the credits for the course, its guarantor may require the recommendation of the instructor who was consulting the work with the student. |
