Course content
An overview of aesthetical thinking from an ancient era to the present.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 38 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 37 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to acquaint students with main topics and issues of aesthetics and general theory of art, with the development and transformations of approaches toward their solution, including the contribution of crucial personalities of aesthetics and general theory of art.
The students will get basic knowledge of the history of European aesthetics including main categories.
