Course content
Individual work on a chosen topic. The frequency of tutorials depends on the agreed schedule (should be minimally once a month). At the end of this period the student presents the thesis in the final draft which allows for preliminary evaluation of its content and format.

Learning outcomes
Regular weekly consultations of a student or a group of specialized students with the tutor or superviser on the diploma thesis/theses.
Students will familiarize themselves with the basic principles of structuring a larger academic text, they will orient themselves in the parameters of various methodologies, they will be acquainted with the prerequisites of the research process - e.g. verifying sources, thorough researching, citation ethics, etc. Students will be able to choose and adequate methodological procedures in order to reach set objectives. They will be able to individually evaluate their sources (categorize them, critically evaluate their relevance and theoretical or methodological basis) and will be able to lay out the overall structure of an academic work of a greater complexity.

No preliminary courses required.

Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Dialog, Seminar Work

Student elaborates the chapters/parts of the thesis in a quality demanded in the area of musicology and follows the time schedule given by the tutor/superviser.
