Course content

1. The definition of the concepts of music pedagogy, music didactics, methods, objectives and the content of the discipline. 2. Psychologically musical context (talent, skills, abilities, activities, etc.) 3. The characteristics of the individual music activities in the teaching process, the methods of the development of the musical abilities. 4. The alternative music education. 5. The historical context. 6. The state of current music education. 7. The framework of educational program at secondary schools. 8. Listening practice at the primary school of st.Voršila in Olomouc. 9. Listening practice at the primary school of Stupka in Olomouc. 10. Listening practice at the secondary school of Čajkovský in Olomouc. 11. Listening practice at the Conservatory of Evangelical Academy in Olomouc. 12. The assessment of the listening.

Learning outcomes
|
The closer understanding of teaching methods in musical activities of different ages and different types of schools.
The ability to orient oneself in the secondary school curriculum of music education. Knowledge of the methods of effective didactics, the development of one?s musical skills in broader psychological, sociological and historical music context. The application of the gained knowledge and skills into teaching practice.
