Course content
|
The subject of geometry 2 is the scalar, vector and mixed product, distances and variations of two subspaces. All is presented on exercises.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject introduces students to the Euclidean geometry, i.e. perpendicularity of subspaces, distance and deviations of subspaces in n-dimensional Euclidean space. Scalar product and its geometrical interpretation, vector product and its geometrical interpretation and mixed product and its geometrical interpretation.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark
To obtain the credits students must: attend actively the turorials, solve the homework exercises and pass the ending writing test (60 %). For passing the exam they have to show their knowledge and skills in writing and oral way.
