Course content
Study of basic mathematical terms in English. Working with specialized mathematical papers and textbooks. Concept of teaching mathematics in English speaking countries.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The subject consists of three independent units Algebra, Geometry and Calculus. Each of these units deals with basic terms, assertions and problems focusing on applications of mathematics at elementary schools. The subject is taught in English.
Introduction to basic mathematical terms and concepts in English. Ability to study mathematics from English publications. Ability of English communication in mathematics.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of English.
