Course content

This course is an elementary Persian Language course, a follow-up to The Elementary Persian Language 1, for non-native speakers who want to learn Persian to study middle east. This course will offer many opportunities for students to develop their basic elements of Persian language and culture by creating rooms for interactions in Persian language. Students may follow it up with intermediate and advanced courses. Elementary Persian Language is designed to build learners ability to communicate in basic language in different social and professional settings. The course will focus on developing the student's competence on listening, speaking, reading and writing. This course will emphasis on training students to communicate in everyday situations. An important component of this course is that it incorporates important cultural aspects through the variants the students will expose.

Learning outcomes
|
Help students in acquiring the basic skills in speaking listening, reading and writing. Provide the insights into the culture and customs of Persian language speakers. Understanding the basic structures and vocabulary of Persian language. Acquiring the basic communication skills for everyday life and develop knowledge that builds awareness of personal academic development. The course aims at reaching A2 level knowledge of Persian language.

Completion of the course KMS/PFPER or relevant knowledge of the language.
