This course is an elementary Arabic Language course for non-native speakers who want to learn Arabic to Orientalism or Islamic studies. This course will offer many opportunities for students to develop their basic elements of Arabic language and culture by creating rooms for interactions in Arabic language. Students may follow it up with intermediate and advanced courses. Elementary Arabic Language is designed to build learners ability to communicate in basic language in different social and professional settings. The course will focus on developing the student's competence on listening, speaking, reading and writing. This course will emphasis on training students to communicate in everyday situations. An important component of this course is that it incorporates important cultural aspects through the variants the students will expose.

To teach students Arabic alphabet and the ability to write, pronounce and listen. To help students in acquiring the basic skills in speaking listening, reading and writing. Understanding the basic structures and vocabulary of Arabic language and making sentences with them. Acquiring the basic communication skills for everyday life. The course aims at reaching A1 level knowledge of Arabic language.
