An internship in an organization focused on sharing information with the public is an integral part of the degree. The purpose of the internship is to support the professional competence and develop the competences of the students to work in the respective organizations. The internship is carried out in non-profit and commercial organisations or in institutions of civil society, state administration and local government that communicate with the public as part of their activities. The students participate in the implemented work of the organization under the guidance of a supervisor. The learner's aim is to review the information sharing strategies of the selected organisation and, based on the knowledge, procedures and recommendations that he/she has acquired during the study, to develop an analysis of the forms of communication implemented in the organisation and a proposal for their improvement. The learner can use this experience as an empirical basis for the final thesis. The internship is completed in an organization of the student's choice after approval by the course supervisor. The internship is carried out under the guidance of a supervisor who confirms its progress after its completion in a report to the course supervisor. At the end of the internship, the learner prepares a report on the internship and presents it in discussion with the course supervisor and other learners.
