Course content
The student can choose the organisation himself or herself or use the contacts mediated by the department and its teachers. The choice of the organisation where the internship will be carried out must be approved by the course supervisor before it starts. The internship is primarily carried out in organizations whose activities involve information sharing (non-profit organizations, local government, political parties, research organizations, research institutes, cultural institutions, museums, medical institutions, religious organizations, commercial organizations, etc.). The internship is carried out in the form of job shadowing, i.e. learning competences by observing the working procedures of professionals in a real environment on actual cases. The learners participate in the implemented work of the organisation under the guidance of a supervisor who assigns them partial tasks. Learners are encouraged to reflect and self-reflect on whether they are consciously and actively applying the knowledge, practices and recommendations they have acquired in the theoretical training. The internship is completed in an organisation of the learner's choice after approval by the course supervisor. The internship is carried out under the guidance of a supervisor who confirms its progress after its completion in a report to the course supervisor. At the end of the placement, the learner produces a report on the course and is encouraged to reflect on the experience in conversation with the course supervisor and other learners.
