Course content
|
The course teaches the C language, which is not only still used in practice but also serves as a model for many languages in use today. Emphasis is placed on the language standard itself, independent of any particular development environment or compiler. Syllabus Language basics: data types, operators, control-flow constructs, arrays, functions. User-defined data types: structs, enumerated types, unions, typedef Working with memory: addresses and pointers, automatic and dynamic allocation and deallocation, pointer arithmetic Advanced work with functions: variadic functions, function pointers Working with files and streams Preprocessor, macros The compilation process, multiple source files Overview of the standard library
