Course content
The course provides an introduction to fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets. Covered are theoretical foundations and selected applications. " Introduction to fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets. History and motivations. " Structures of truth degrees, truth functions of logical connectives. " Fuzzy sets and fuzzy relations, basic operations. " Cuts, extenson principle, fuzzy numbers. " Compositional rule of inference, rule-based fuzzy systems. " Fuzzy controllers, principles, fuzzification, defuzzification. " Selected applications of fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets.
