Course content
1. Basic rules of typesetting. 2. Introduction to TeX system, versions and instalation. 3. Basic informations of the programm. 4. The layout of the document. 5. Major principles concerning the preparation of LaTeX input files. Text editors, postscript file, and pdf output. 6. Formats of TeX, LaTeX2e. 7. Pictures in TeX documents. Introduction to METAPOST.

  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Be able to use TeX for Diploma Thesis preparation.
Knowledge Know to display the mathematical document in TeX.

Credit: the student has to display short mathematical text.
