Course content
1. Renewal models - renewal of ageing equipment models; renewal of failing element models. 2. Queueing theory models - descriptive models - single-server case with limited and unlimited queue. 3. Queueing theory models - descriptive models - multiple-server case, models with priority queue. 4. Queueing theory models - optimization models. 5. Deterministic inventory models - periodic review: uniform demand (shortages not permitted, shortages permitted). 6. Deterministic multiproduct inventory models - inventory strategies, inventory control under the constraints. 7. Stochastic inventory models - a single period model with no setup cost, basic strategies of multi-period models. 8. Input-output analysis - the open Leontief´s model, distribution equation system. 9. Input-output analysis - relation between the price of the total production and value added by working; dynamization of an input-output model.
