1. Fundamentals and theoretical definition of money, functions of money. History of banking. 2. Bank as an entrepreneurial subject and its specialities. 3. Banking activites. 4. Banking licence, the principal of unified banking licence in EU. Organization of a bank, operating demands. 5. Banking supervision, remedial measure. 6. Banking secret, deposit insurance fund. 7. Fundamentals and kinds of financial markets. 8. Balance sheet of a commercial bank and its specialities. 9. Core capital, capital adequacy, returns and costs. 10. Types and kinds of the risk of banking business. 11. Main principles of a commercial bank control. 12. Assets and liabilities control.

Learning outcomes
|
To gain knowledge of history and economic conception of banking, bank activities and legal regulations of Czech banking according to The Law 21/1992 Sb.
Knowledge To know history of banking and legal regulations of Czech banking (The Law 21/1992 Sb.), to be acquainted with bank activities.

Knowledge of Czech and international history; basic knowledge of accounting - advantage.
